How we help

Support for personal care routines
We help organize the daily basics: meals, medication reminders the family manages, hygiene routines, rest. Simple written plans everyone in the family can follow.
Wellness guidance for older adults
Gentle, realistic guidance on movement, eating well and staying connected, adapted to real ages and real homes. Never a fitness program in disguise.

Family orientation and continuity
When several relatives share the care, we help everyone agree on who does what, and keep the thread when circumstances change.

Companionship planning
Loneliness is a care issue too. We help plan regular calls, visits and activities so company is scheduled, not left to chance.
For the family organizing it all
You stop carrying it alone
One guide who knows your family's situation and helps you think it through, week by week.
Plans written in plain words
Every agreement becomes a short written plan, in large clear type, shared with the whole family.
Continuity when life changes
New diagnosis, a move, a hospital stay: we help you adjust the plan instead of starting over.
Honest about our limits
We are guides, not nurses or doctors. When your family needs professional care, we say so and help you look for it.
How it works
A first conversation
Free and unhurried. You tell us about your family; we listen and tell you honestly how we can help.
A simple plan
Together we write a short care-routine plan: who does what, when, and what to watch for.
Steady accompaniment
Regular check-ins keep the plan alive. When something changes, the plan changes with it.
“My sister is in Texas, I am in Florida, and Mom is in between. BECAN got the three of us following one plan for the first time.”
“They ask me what I want first. At my age, that is rarer than you would think.”
Questions families ask
No. BECAN offers guidance and organization only. We are not a healthcare provider, we do not give medical advice, and we are not an emergency service. In an emergency, always call 911.
